The First "Man-Machine Integration Management in the Algorithm Era" Seminar Was Successfully Held in Beijing Normal University

On November 18, the first "Human-Machine Integration Management in the Algorithm Era" seminar sponsored by BNUBS and hosted by the Department of Human Resources Management of BNUBS was successfully held in Haidian Campus of Beijing Normal University. Nearly 300 scholars from 18 research institutions including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Wuhan University and Beijing Normal University attended the seminar. Associate Professor Xu Zhixing, Head of the Department of Human Resource Management, BNUBS, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar.

At the beginning of the conference, the academic lecture hall on the third floor of the library of Beijing Normal University was full. Professor Qi Yudong, Dean of BNUBS, delivered the opening speech, and President Qi first expressed warm congratulations on the smooth convening of the forum, fully affirmed the important development trend of algorithm and human-machine integration in the field of organization and human resources, and wished the forum a complete success. Professor Sun Yu, Associate Dean of the Research Institute of Beijing Normal University, Director of the Division of Social Sciences, and Professor of the School of Government Management, fully affirmed the smooth convening of this conference from the perspective of "Scholars + Managers", and made a speech and discussion on the relationship between algorithms and administrative management from the interdisciplinary perspective.

Professor Sun Yu gave a keynote speech

This seminar is divided into two parts. In the morning, 8 experts and scholars give keynote speeches from micro and macro perspectives respectively, and in the afternoon, there are 3 sub-forums for on-site comments and discussions on outstanding papers in the paper call.In the morning keynote speech of experts and scholars, the first half (micro perspective) under the chairmanship of Associate Professor Li Ran of BNUBS, a total of 4 experts and scholars made keynote speeches. Experts and scholars from the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, the School of Psychology and Cognition of Peking University, the School of Business of Renmin University of China, and the Institute of Industry and Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted in-depth discussions on non-monetary incentive mechanism, innovation identification obstacles, and algorithm control in the digital age from a micro perspective.

Dean Qi Yudong delivered a speech

The second half (macro view) was presided over by Ju Dong, Associate Professor of BNUBS. Another four experts and scholars from the School of Philosophy of Wuhan University, the School of Government Management of Beijing Normal University, the Liepin Big Data Research Institute, and the School of Economics and Business Administration of Beijing Normal University expressed their views from the macro perspectives of AI moral attribution, the construction of social public order and good customs, human-computer coexistence and co-evolution, and the yin-yang path of AI application and innovation.

Eight keynote speakers

In the afternoon, three sub-forums were hosted and commented by Zhang Zhipeng, Cai Zijun and Associate Professor He Peixu from BNUBS. Nearly 30 student representatives from more than 10 universities, including Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Ocean University of China, and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, shared their research results. Under the guidance of the teachers, the discussion atmosphere of the sub-forum was very warm, and the teachers and students benefited a lot.

The parallel sessions

This seminar was held for the first time in Beijing Normal University on the theme of "Algorithm era and man-machine Integration Management". BNUBS is the initiator and organizer of the conference, which aims to build a platform for information sharing and academic exchange among major universities, and explore a new model of human-computer interaction under algorithm management through in-depth exchanges between academia and the business community, which is conducive to scholars and enterprises in this field to understand the academic frontier. It is of great significance for the development of algorithm and interpersonal integration, as well as the discipline construction of business administration in Beijing Normal University.
